The young rider Maya and the horse Windy are close friends. Windy curiously observes everything that happens around him. Among other things, what funny exercises his two-legged friend is doing, because, as is well known, horses don't have to do falling exercises. So when will the shared fun finally begin? It's an exciting surprise when Maya takes out a drum and, to the rhythm of the drum beats, the gentle observer Windy suddenly transforms into a wild dancer! He whirls around and one joyful leap follows another. How much fun he's having can be seen in the impressive pictures. Mutual trust connects the drummer and the dancer. Besides the fun, this is also the deeper basic idea of the exercise, because horses can also be very easily startled because they are shy animals. The playfully gained experiences with stimuli from the environment create mutual trust, whereby Windy overcomes his shyness and trusts in Maya's correct guidance. Respectful interaction enables fast, goal-oriented and consistent learning. Through the many charming landscape pictures, riders can be inspired and infected by Windy's and Maya's happiness. The basic prerequisites for this shared happiness, being able to ride safely and precisely through open terrain, are to be provided by the creative riding techniques, which are a collection of methods that, as a basic principle, work with the horse as a naturally shy animal, its instincts and its herd behavior. Horses originally derive their trust from experienced lead animals and want to be led. Through imagination and empathy, every rider can strengthen mutual trust with this methodology and apply it to the personal relationship between human and horse. Whether on paths, meadows or in the forest, the horse dream and its challenges await riders everywhere. This book aims to be one of the many possible keys that opens the door to this dream.
